Thank you for your interest in our Future Stars Program! We are a program that has a strong foundation in movement with a learning based curriculum. We believe that movement is important for kids and that it allows for a better, healthier and active lifestyles. We also believe that movement and activity in young children can help increase memory, perception, language, attention, emotion and even improved decision making. Our Flips Future stars staff are ready to support your child in a multitude of areas. We ensure the best possible care for your child with staff that is well trained and take pride in the life lessons that support a happy, healthy and self-motivating life.

Future Stars Services
Serving Students from Kindergarten through 5th Grade
All of care options includes transportation to and from the schools that we service. As well included extended day options included in tuition when schools have regularly schedule delayed start and or early dismissal. With Full Day Closures we have your child covered with our Full Day Camps.
More than just a Before & After School Program!
​Before care begins as early as 6:30, we encourage all families to arrive early and ready to start the day. This allows time for greetings and settling in, making the experience for everyone much more enjoyable. Thank you for your cooperation!
Join our After School Care programs, which runs directly after school until 6:00 PM. Here your child can thrive in a fun and safe environment. Each enrollment includes membership to our Gym Activities program, featuring exciting instruction in tumbling, gymnastics, and ninja obstacles. Let your child explore their physical potential while making new friends and having a blast!
Welcome to our full day program! We're here to support you from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Your child will enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including weekly themes daily fun in our gym with our active gym program. We're excited to provide nurturing environment where your child can explore and thrive!

October 16th 2026
The prized FLIPS pumpkin has vanished, and only our campers can crack the case! Young detectives will uncover clues as they learn new gymnastics skills, travel across the beam, swing through the pumpkin patch, vault past obstacles, and tumble along the mystery trail. Pumpkin games and a creative fall craft will reveal even more evidence. Will they solve the caper before time runs out?
October 26th 2026
Enter if you dare, but prepare for more giggles than scares! Campers will tumble through haunted floor courses, balance past silly monsters, swing over imaginary bubbling cauldrons, and vault away from creeping creatures. Spooky games will keep everyone moving while campers create a frightfully fun Halloween craft to remember their spectacular adventure.
November 3rd 2026
Lights, camera, gymnastics! Campers will become the stars of the show as they learn skills and earn points during exciting vault, bars, beam, and floor rounds. Silly games, surprise challenges, and team competitions will lead to the championship finale, and every contestant will design a special game show craft worthy of a winner!
November 25th 2026
The turkeys have escaped, and they’re taking over FLIPS! Campers will need to trot across the beam, swing through the barnyard, tumble after the runaway flock, and vault over Thanksgiving obstacles to round them up. Feather filled games and gobbler relays will add to the chase while campers create a festive turkey craft to bring a little Turkey Trot fun home.
December 23rd 2026
An urgent message has arrived from the Arctic, and our expedition team must race to the rescue! Campers will use their gymnastics training to balance across frozen bridges, swing over icy rivers, tumble through snowstorms, and vault across glaciers. Arctic survival games will prepare the team for the journey, and every explorer will create a frosty expedition craft after reaching the North Pole.
December 28th 2026
Calling all penguin recruits! Campers will waddle across narrow beams, swing over icy waters, tumble through frozen tunnels, and vault across slippery looking pathways while building real gymnastics skills. Penguin games and egg rescue missions will test their teamwork, and each recruit will create an adorable penguin craft to commemorate completing the challenge.
December 29th 2026
A giant blizzard is headed toward FLIPS, and campers must complete their survival training before the storm arrives! They’ll use gymnastics skills to cross frozen beams, swing through fierce winds, vault over snowbanks, and tumble through the storm. Rescue games will teach recruits how to work as a team, while a hands on winter craft will become an essential part of their pretend survival kit.
December 30th 2026
Turn up the energy and get ready to glow! Campers will bring their brightest moves to vault, bars, beam, and floor as they learn skills through colorful gymnastics challenges. High energy games, music, dancing, and party competitions will keep the gym shining, and campers will create their own glow inspired craft to make the celebration even brighter!
​Schools Out Day Camps are $60 per child 9:00am-4:00pm
All active enrolled Future Stars can attend Schools Out Day Camps for $45.
Payment is due in full upon sign up.
No refunds or credits for cancellations.
Frederick Camp Tuition Info
Tuition
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for each week registered. Payment is due 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. Any cancellations received less then 2 weeks to the start of camp will receive a refund of 50% of camp tuition. Refunds will be mailed by check or result in a credit in your flips account.

Activity Fees for camps vary from week to week based on weekly scheduled activities, availability, price or weather. Some weeks like Eats and Treats and Out and About may be more due to the nature of the camp. This applies to all Flips Frederick camps.

2. Pick Up
For pick-up, only parents or guardians registered in your Flips Parent Portal Account are authorized to collect children. Please ensure that a valid driver's license is presented for identification verification at the time of pick-up. Individuals not listed in your parent portal account or documented in writing will not be allowed to pick up. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
3. Transportation
At Flips, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all our campers during field trips with our Flips Vans. We ask that parents or legal guardians provide an appropriate car seat, in accordance with Maryland Law, to help keep our children safe. It is crucial that all campers and staff follow Maryland's safety seat and seat belt laws, including wearing seat belts at all times. Our vehicles are fully insured and driven by licensed individuals who are 21 years or older, ensuring a secure and reliable transportation experience for everyone.
4. Medication During Camp Hours
At Camp, the safety and well-being of your child is our top priority. Please remember that while Flips is not medically trained to administer prescribed medications, our staff is equipped handle emergency situations. If your child has a severe allergy requiring an Epi-pen or any other medical device, kindly include this information in their medical records and inform Camp Staff on your first day at Camp. Your cooperation helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

2. What if I need to pick up my children early?
We understand that sometimes you may need to pick up your child early from camp. Due to our field trips and strict schedule, please inform us in advance so we can guide you on the best way to arrange this. Thank you for your cooperation!
3. How does Swimming Work?
Swimming is one of our most popular activities at camp and the systems we have in place make it one of the safest as well. On the first trip to a pool, staff work with the pool’s lifeguard staff to evaluate each camper’s swim level. Campers are asked to swim the entire length of the pool and do their best to avoid touching either the bottom or side. Campers are either given a green wristband, which allows them to swim in any area of the pool, or a red wristband, which allows them to swim only in the shallow areas of the pool, based upon the lifeguard and Camp staff assessment of the camper’s swimming abilities. Campers may ask to be re-evaluated at any time. Staff remain out of the water to monitor campers at all times. In case of inclement weather while at the pool all staff members phones are equipped with emergency alert system message capabilities that will be on at all times. In the event inclement weather warnings happen campers and staff will immediately seek shelter.
4. How do you take care of my children if they are sick or injured at camp?

All of our staff is certified in CPR and First Aid, and concussion certified. In the event that a sickness or injury prevents your child from returning to normal camp activities, we will notify you by the provided phone numbers in your campers emergency contact information.
We require a one-week non-refundable deposit for your final week of tuition. This deposit will be held as payment for that last week. Once you provide a two-week notice of departure, your account will reflect the remaining deposit credit. Thank you for your understanding.
We use positive reinforcement with our students, being sure to acknowledge those who are actively behaving in a positive manner. We feel that this is the best practice to allow for a positive environment.
We work hard to give our students choices throughout the day. Our students have daily free will with open play. We plan our calendars with our students to include them in our monthly activities, snacks and breakfast items using the state mandated food chart.
